The name says it all.   HIBBC is a group of individuals and businesses who have come together to focus on a subject essential to our economy and our society – health insurance.
 

 Federal health care reform legislation will bring enormous changes to the way Americans obtain and use their health insurance.  Under the federal legislation, both the federal and Maryland State governments are intended to play a more prominent role than ever before.  As Maryland moves ahead with implementing this vast new law, HIBBC members will play an active role in shaping our State policy. 

HIBBC members all come from the private sector, and we intend to protect the role of the private sector in the delivery of health insurance.  You may view the founding Principles of HIBBC here.
